Downtown Santa Barbara’s Spanish Influence Architecture for an Engagement photoshoot

Known for it’s Spanish influence, Downtown Santa Barbara is a photographers dream for capturing those intimate memories for an engagement or wedding day.

“Santa Barbara, overall is such a beautiful place full of art, yummy food and it just has it’s own unique character to it” said Megan as we start our session at the historic Santa Barbara Courthouse on our way to the beach.

Some fun fact about the newlyweds: Megan, the lovely bride to be “I would be completely lying if I were to say I had absolutely no idea that Arneil was going to pop the question, but then again, he’s a very unpredictable person that it was more likely that he would ask on a random day in the middle of a coffee shop just to throw me off!

“The two of us love traveling and getting to see new places, but we especially love going to Hawaii. That place is a home away from home for us and we always try to take a trip there at least once a year. When we aren’t traveling, we love just hanging out at home with our dog and indulging in a great movie. I know so boring! Ha-ha”.

Been engaged for 8 months, Megan says “We are definitely taking our time planning the wedding, to save up some money and just enjoy our time together and not stress about anything. You could say we are both huge fans of the month October but Halloween is one of our favorite holidays, and we couldn’t miss that opportunity to getting married on that day!”
